Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

About Me and My Approach

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) specializing in supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples, and our allies through gender and sexual identity exploration, all stages of gender transition, and the substance use recovery process. I also help clients navigate anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, complex PTSD trauma, and other life challenges.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and empowering, grounded in multicultural counseling and social justice education, and drawing from evidence-based methods including CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, and Solution-Focused and Narrative Therapy.

I’m the founder of a private practice dedicated to affirming and inclusive care, while also working as a Queer Sensitivity Trainer and Motivational Speaker. Previously, I served as Primary Therapist and Manager of Queer Programming at Casa Palmera, a residential treatment facility for substance use disorders and acute mental health. I am a Life Coach, published Author, and former international Commercial Photographer and nationally syndicated Dating Columnist.

Therapy with me is safe, affirming, and inspiring — a space to explore, grow, and build the life and sense of self you deserve.
